THE TEAM

Our Briteling Experience (BX) team is charged with attracting, engaging, and retaining the diverse talent we need to win. We partner with our global teams to develop initiatives that foster an engaging experience for Britelings to perform to the highest standard.

THE ROLE

Eventbrite is seeking a Strategic HRBP to support our Engineering organization. Our Engineering function is responsible for developing and maintaining the core product and platform of the Eventbrite business. As a technology company, this is Eventbrite’s largest function - with 250+ technical Britelings working across the globe.

This global role is the primary support for our Engineering teams with partnership with Briteling Experience teammates across our regions - Argentina, India, Spain, and the US. Core outcomes expected for this role include helping shape the strategic talent agenda for the globally distributed functional groups, and design and delivery of the most critical initiatives that are solving complex talent solutions and enabling business strategies. This role will partner heavily with regional HRBPs in support of the global talent strategy and be an implementation arm to core programs such as engagement results, performance and compensation, DEI etc. Also, this role will play an informal, but important, role of coaching our executive leadership to help elevate leadership capability.

This is a versatile role in an organization that leads with a mindset of experience. BX is a highly collaborative team which seeks “customer” inputs and data to help design and build solutions that are most relevant to our business, Britelings, and our BX team. YOU WILL

• Build trust based relationships with leadership and engage in business cadences and rhythms to build business acumen; Advise the talent solutions with a business and/or employee perspective
• Participate or lead in career planning, performance management, compensation and rewards, employee relations, employer value proposition, inclusion and diversity, org design and workforce planning, succession planning, and employee engagement efforts
• Act as a SME for talent and people matters within Engineering and other areas
• Consult, coach and guide leadership on talent topics in order to drive business results; Observe, identify, and surface trends in both qualitative and quantitative data to inform opportunities and solutions (talent agenda), and measure impact; Interpret data and tie metrics to business and org strategy
• Collaborate and consult with key stakeholders to deliver on talent strategy; Be a thought partner and help connect the dots with key stakeholders
• Coach and guide leadership on leadership capabilities and performance
• Bring a design led thinking mindset to build of talent solutions; Leverage process and project management capabilities to deploy efficient and programmatic solutions and be an enabler and owner
• Consult and advise on complex ER issues.
• Contribute to elevating the BX organization inclusive of driving efficiencies in our processes, programs, identifying opportunities for new and different ways of working, and bringing creative solutions that help us differentiate for our business and our employees

THE SKILLSET

• 8+ years of HR experience with demonstrated progression in the field of HR
• Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results
• Experience balancing strategic projects and hands on work
• Skilled in using broad knowledge of HR competencies to appropriately consult the business on the right talent solutions and to engage the right key stakeholders
• Self-directed and able to effectively manage complex situations simultaneously
• Demonstrated success in a fast-moving environment, fast-growing technology companies
• Fluent in using data and insights across the various responsibilities of the HRBP role
• Business partnership experience grounded in strong business acumen and HR expertise, including a global mindset and a consultative approach with leaders and managers
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with global cross-functional teams and partners across all levels of the organization
• Proven track record developing and operationalizing people initiatives in a collaborative way, reflecting a balance of the business and broader Eventbrite with a goal of high value impact
