We are seeking an HR Business Partner - Remote, who will support the *Southwest Region. This position will help drive business success by working with managers and employees on talent development, succession planning, and staffing models to meet the needs of our patients and our employees. Day to day the role will provide employee relations support for 650+ employees located in more than 128 clinics across 5 states in the Southwest. This role will also provide support in the following functional areas: training, organizational development, change management, and performance management coaching.

  • This is a remote role and the candidate must be based near a major city in the territory (TX, CO, NM, UT, AZ) with occasional travel, partnering with senior line managers and HR leaders to support the execution of HR programs and initiatives within the client groups.

  • Engaging line leaders in workforce planning including but not limited to, skill assessments, employee selection, employee development, succession planning, flexible staffing models, all in accordance with regulatory and Company guidelines.
  • Participating in Enterprise-wide initiatives and projects to support this dynamic organization.
  • Exhibiting strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, creating thinking and analytical skills in a fast-paced workplace while managing multiple projects.
  • Providing employee relations and HR business support to a group of regionally distributed business leaders in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona.
  • Maintaining and developing your robust knowledge of employment law to guide policy and procedure decisions across the organization
  • Maintaining rigor in selection & assessment practices to ensure that appropriate tools are used to support the hiring decision making process.
  • Driving business results through effective performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development, corrective action). Coach leaders on how to drive culture and weave cultural standards into practices and processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Able to quickly gain the respect of client groups and HR team.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach managers, including leading transformation projects, leveraging change management techniques, managing conflict and building consensus.
  • Able to identify and explain the HR implications for complex business strategies and situations. Able to provide talent solutions to achieve those strategies.
  • Strong collaborator; able to partner with line leaders and HR colleagues dispersed across the country.
  • Strong business acumen, in addition to highly developed oral and written communications.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, General Business, Management, or a related course of study is required.
  • Eight (8) or more years of relevant HR experience, to include corporate and field assignments.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, particularly in TX, CO, NM, UT and AZ.
  • Proficient in multiple HR functional areas including organizational development, staffing, leadership development, change management, compensation, and culture.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to make effective presentations, offer compelling business cases and exert influence with VP level executives.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training programs in a variety of mediums such as classroom, OJT, e-learning, etc.
  • Very strong hands-on employee relations experience, preferably working with a dispersed employee population.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
  • Demonstrated ability to tie HR metrics to business and financial objectives.
  • Effective PC skills in common software applications such as spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Effective at interacting with all levels of employees, across different locations and cultures.
  • A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined in Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

Pay range of $85,000 to $115,000 + annual bonus: up to 10% of base pay depending on bonus criteria. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
