The Store Planning function helps the retail team meet financial goals by translating product strategies into store clusters and ensuring that each store’s profitability and potential is optimized. Through detailed analysis of store level performance and partnership with the field leadership team, you will help to forecast and balance inventory across the fleet. Also, you will support the opening of new/relocation stores with a strategic mindset, and is a trusted advisor to the planning, merchandising and allocation functions within retail.
About The Job

• Recommend and analyze results for store/cluster specific promotional opportunities aimed to optimize performance
• Maintain store level attributes in global databases
• Support building pre-season store clusters to support merchandising strategies and financial plans
• Maintain in-season store/category settings in allocation system to inform initial flow quantities and capitalize on store level opportunities
• Facilitate all aspects of New Store openings, execution and reporting
• Partner with field teams on store specific sales opportunities and work back with cross-functional teams to address
• Collaborate with merchandising to identify localized assortment/ allocation opportunities and present data-informed solutions
• Support cross-functional teams in seasonal transfer of markdowns from mainline to outlet
• Deliver store level reporting to give the organization a clear view to our performance by door as well as aggregated performance by store cluster/region
• Work with allocation partners on strategy and execution during select time periods
• Support cross-functional team with ad hoc store level reporting and projects

About You

• Strong mathematical with abilities to draw conclusions from large datasets
• 1-3 years of retail allocation/planning/ store planning or related analytical experience
• Excel (can perform complex functions) and experience working with Business Intelligence Software
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Proficiency in retail math with clear understanding of how to impact financial measurements

The expected starting salary range for this role is $57,500 - $90,500. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
