Visual Store Planner Jobs

1 – 3 years of experience in Architecture, Interior Design, Retail Space Planning

Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point

3D CAD experience preferred but not required

Perform merchandise fixture takeoffs for Purchasing using Revit software.

Create and run store reports using the Store Planning database.

Associates Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or similar

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

1-3 years of retail allocation/planning/ store planning or related analytical experience

Strong mathematical with abilities to draw conclusions from large datasets

Excel (can perform complex functions) and experience working with Business Intelligence Software

Support building pre-season store clusters to support merchandising strategies and financial plans

Maintain in-season store/category settings in allocation system to inform initial flow quantities and capitalize on store level opportunities

Participate in daily/weekly walk through with Visual Manager and Store Manager to review any visual issues that need to be addressed.

Basic knowledge of tools and measuring devices

Bachelors degree and/or equivalent years of experience

Maintain visual merchandising storage area and room to prevent any damage or destruction of existing visual collateral or tools.

Choose merchandise and accessories to be presented on mannequins and bust forms throughout the store to compliment corporate fashion trends.

Press, steam and remove tags to prepare merchandise for installation on mannequins and bust forms.

Follow up, evaluate, and give feedback on sales KPIs to the management team

Ability to coach and counsel staff on performance management and progressive discipline techniques

Initiate changes to improve the business together with the Store Manager

Set store visual goals with the Store Manager; facilitate them and do follow-ups

Execute and ensure store Visual recruitment with the Store Manager

1-2+ years of transferrable experience welcome

Proven effective leadership and people management skills that contributes to a positive team environment

Define and manage the messaging and content plan for Stores that best supports presentation plans, promotional messages and Branded content

Develop and manage all presentation standards for Stores, including training modules that encourage the development of brand standards

Create, maintain, and manage the annual budget for Visual Merchandising

Use VOC and customer experience analytics to advise strategy and decisions for stores

Remain knowledgeable of the business through Pre-planning, In-season and Post-season analysis

Comprehensive knowledge of the retail industry, omnichannel, supply chain and logistics. Merchandising experience a plus.

Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, Merchandising/ Supply Chain or 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience.

2 -3 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience).

Strong analytical, data manipulation to gain insight into the business. Strong knowledge of planning systems. Excel intermediate to advanced.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Build store intelligence in collaboration with merchants and the field, local store visits, competition, customer demographics, and data.

Partner with Store Construction and Store Planning management to ensure drawings are complete and accurate based on final store survey information

Pay Rate - $62k - $68k - based on experience + 5% bonus

Partner with Store Construction to ensure requirements and recommendations are met

Create and manage project folders within Store Plan folders for assigned projects

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field of study.

Experience: Experience in AutoCAD, Construction, Site Planning and/or Space Planning Concept, Corporate or field based retail experience is preferred.

Develops and provides ad-hoc reporting to all levels of management and cross-functional teams as needed.

Manages clearance transfer recommendations for new stores.

At least 5 years of retail allocation and/or merchandise planning experience.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Experience with JDA/Arthur Allocation system is a plus.

1-3 years of store planning experience

Prior experience redlining planograms and blueprints

Experience working with Bluebeam is a plus

This is an 11-month contract opportunity with flexibility to work remotely in EST or CST hours.

Provide planning and execution expectations work plans data sets and communication consistently to drive project and program completion.

Self-motivated and comfortable working with ambiguous deadlines

Excellent follow up and time-management skills.

1-2 years in a retail visual merchandising role or in a retail store management role.

Reviews bi-weekly high-profile store photos and provide feedback to Visual Manager and Directors.

Frequently visits local high-profile stores and provides feedback to Visual Manager and Directors.

Must possess above-average computer skills including Excel, Photoshop, In-Design, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
