Position Summary:
The role of Sr Sales Manager, BioProduction is to drive the strategic sales strategy for their overall assigned region! This individual will lead a team of Account Managers to drive sales growth to meet plan and expand business within assigned territory. The Sr Sales Manager, BioProduction will ensure the team maintains a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience working within an environment where working with other business units and functions is vital for success.
- Provides strategic support and business intelligence to lead sales operations in support of overachieving the global business unit sales and expense plans.
- Develops creative solutions and implements technology, tools and communications to keep commercial team passionate about what matters most.
- Collaborates with Finance to drive accurate forecast and fulfillment of SFDC bookings plan for AOP and implement forecasting reporting and accuracy maintenance.
- Works with team to formulate strategic business plans to address the opportunities and ensures team consistently focuses on goal attainment; Leads team to overcome obstacles, and consistently achieves or exceeds such targets.
- Evaluates market/customer purchase practices, preferences and trends, selling activities and distribution methods for reaching target market and customer segments.
- Establish and lead reporting of key sales metrics including progress against revenue synergy initiatives.
- Partners with sales leaders in crafting and executing on a comprehensive sales strategy and processes that deliver revenue growth and improvement in sales efficiency.
- Drive execution of sales initiatives, including cross-divisional revenue alignment opportunities.
- Drives the involvement of company employees, including sales, support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Solid understand of Sales Incentive Plans.
- Bachelor's degree in a Life Science or Engineering related field, Master's Degress preferred.
- Experience building, leading, and inspiring teams towards unified business goals in a high paced commercial environment.
- Experience with a Customer Relationship Management system is required.
- 8 - 10 years of Life Science product sales, preferably bioproduction related
