We are accepting applications for our Sr Quality Engineer. This position provides oversight and implementation of Quality Assurance programs.
Duties:
Completes the oversight and execution of quality assurance tools such as First Article Inspection, Root Cause Corrective Action, Preventive Action, FMEA, SPC, Statistical Hypothesis Testing, Process Capability Tests, and SCAR.
Conducts internal audits to ensure compliance to quality standards and internal procedures.
Promotes awareness of customer requirements and quality standards throughout the organization.
Determines quality improvement opportunities by monitoring process performance metrics, reported issues, and known failures.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
Conducts benchmarking activities to collect and implement best practices.
Requires:

Education: Bachelor’s in engineering, business, science, or related field. Knowledge of quality principles and processes required.

Experience: Five or more years preferred. One - two years in a manufacturing

environment preferred. Knowledge of commodity materials, production processes, quality control, first article inspection is preferred.

Physical: Should be able to lift 25 lbs – 50 lbs to maneuver boxes with parts.

Miscellaneous: Quality certifications (CQE, lean, six sigma, BPM, etc) preferable. Some travel.

Employment is contingent upon passing a required background screen, pre-employment drug screen and physical which will be conducted upon acceptance of an offer.
