Sr. Production Engineer Jobs

Aethon Energy Operating LLC (“Aethon”) Sr. Production Engineer is responsible for providing engineering solutions & support for operations and production activities for company assets primarily in the Haynesville play.
DUTIES & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor casing string pressures to identify and to take remedial action for potential wellbore integrity issues.
• Responsible to provide daily production actuals and forecast estimates along with comparisons to targets.
• Identify economic or strategic opportunities to maintain or increase production. Conduct evaluations, prepare justification, seek alignment with other stakeholders, and obtain management review & approvals.
• Manage effort to mitigate impact to production caused by offset well frac operations. Obtain stakeholder input & approvals to execute pump-down or other mitigating operations.
• Monitor & manage drawdown of new wells to meet type curve performance.
• Evaluate opportunities and propose projects to decrease lease operating expenses for water handling.
• Monitor shut-in well list and recommend actions that would ensure production lapses do not result in loss of leases.

Requirements
Education & Work Experience:

• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have excellent writing skills to prepare clear and concise technical reports
• Possess proven project management skills
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• At least 10 years of experience in unconventional gas
• At least 5 years of industry experience
• Familiarity with OpenInvoice, AFENavigator, and Spotfire considered a plus
