Job Description
GBC Practice Line Lead for Travel Program Management Outsourcing (NORAM)

As part of the Global Business Consulting organization, the Travel Program Management (TPM) practice line is one of the fastest growing organizations within that group, aiming to provide value by executing strategic and operational travel management on behalf of our customers.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant Practice Line Lead for TPM to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the travel management practice area and be responsible for managing and growing the outsourced travel management business, ensuring excellent service delivery, and driving customer satisfaction. As an integral part of the GBC organization, the TPM Practice Line Lead is a subject matter expert and responsible for:
Responsibilities:
  • Provide regular reports on the performance of the outsourced travel management practice area to senior management and make recommendations for improvement where necessary.
  • Build thought leadership and provide sales support, training, customer proof points and case study collateral.
  • Lead and manage the outsourced travel program management practice area, ensuring the development and implementation of successful strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong and trusted partnerships with key players and decision makers within client organizations and across American Express GBT. Elevate, deepen, and broaden client relationships and maintain these through a thorough understanding of client and business needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and marketing, to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Collaborate with other business units to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services to existing clients.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical practices.
  • Understand client priorities and available American Express GBT solutions. Analyzes solutions and information assets to generate highly strategic, insightful, creative and customized recommendations for clients, leveraging relevant industry knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met, and their expectations are exceeded. Proactively identify and recommend business building opportunities to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Manage a team of travel program management consultants and specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure they deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Create and maintain master TPM frameworks, best practices, and delivery models for the practice line.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging technologies to ensure that the business stays ahead of the competition.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of travel industry regulations, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and travel management software.
  • Strong business acumen, including financial management and budgeting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • At least 5 years of experience in travel management or related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing a successful travel management practice area, including driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Location
United States - Pennsylvania - Virtual Location
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
