Ancestry has an amazing opportunity for an experienced Director of Financial Planning & Analysis supporting the corporate G&A and reporting functions. This visible position will report directly to the VP, Global Head of FP&A and will lead the full company consolidation and metric reporting; including executive reporting packages, monthly and quarterly business reviews, monthly forecasts, annual operating plan development, and Board of Directors materials. You will have, established leadership experience, and exceptional understanding of finance and accounting concepts.
What you will do...
- You will work with corporate functional managers to develop and build plans
- You will lead preparation of monthly global reporting packages
- You will develop and maintain business metric reporting for analyzing business performance
- You will report total company actual results versus plan, including variance analysis insights
- You will lead analysis and tracking of strategic initiatives, including development of supporting models and expected outcomes
- You will directly forecast aspects of the income statement and forecast full balance sheet and statement of cash flows
- Coordination and completion of the planning process, inclusive of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans
Who you are...
- You have presented complex financial plans
- You have BS in or Master's in Finance
- 10+ years of progressive relevant experience; minimum 5 years in a leadership role
- You have partnered with executive business leaders and provided a holistic view of business strategy, processes and financial objectives, including board level experience
- Experience with TM1 and Oracle Financials or comparable planning technologies required
- You have experience working in a public company financial reporting setting; IPO process background preferred
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, pivot table, report building skills
- You can perform complex financial analyses and modeling
As a signatory of the ParityPledge in Support of Women and the ParityPledge in Support of People of Color, Ancestry values pay transparency and pay equity. We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position: $141,000 - $306,000 with eligibility for bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision.
