SparkMeter is searching for a Senior Business Analyst to lead the definition of new products and enhancements to existing products. This role will work closely with customers, product managers, and engineers and will have the primary responsibility of defining the product backlog for our multi-tenant SaaS applications and metering solutions.
What you will be doing:

• Develop user stories containing detailed acceptance criteria and referencing UI/UX designs where appropriate
• Work with product managers to understand business strategy, product and feature roadmaps
• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to develop prototypes, low and high fidelity designs
• Work as part of an agile software development team, attend sprint planning, backlog grooming sessions, and daily stand-ups
• Facilitate sessions with customers and engineers to review requirements, demonstrate clickable mockups, demonstrate new features, and accept and incorporate feedback into the backlog
• Interact with customers and engineering during all phases of the software development process

Requirements

• The desire and ability to collaborate with team members, business partners, and customers
• 5+ years developing both user facing and technical user stories
• Experience developing user stories to support development of a multi-tenant SaaS application with an emphasis on UI/UX design
• 5+ years of experience working in a business analyst or product owner role as a member of a product development team
• Experience working on an agile development team using any agile methodology such as Scrum
• Experience interacting with customers, providing product demos, and gathering feedback
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience developing user stories for mobile applications
• Experience working with product managers, engineers, and UI/UX designers
