As a Business Analytics Consultant Sr., you will be within PNC's Corporate Responsibility Group (CRG). This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.
The CRG Business Analytics team is responsible for managing the development, implementation and support of business analytics initiatives and projects within CRG.
In addition to the job description and competencies below, preferred qualifications include:
• BA/BS in a STEM related area. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 3 years of related business analytics and or portfolio analytics experience.
• Technical and business acumen with strong attention to detail.
• Project management skills
• Presentation skills with the ability to ability to shape and tell a story with data.
• Strong technical skills and tool familiarity include SQL, SAS, Alteryx, Hadoop and or Tableau.
• Self-starter with solid interpersonal skills (verbal and written)

  • Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.
  • Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
  • Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
  • Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
  • Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.

Effective Communications – Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Emerging Technologies – Knowledge of and ability to design, apply and evaluate new information technologies for business environments in order to improve work productivity and accuracy.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
