Job Description

PerkSpot is searching for a Sr. Account Manager to join our Merchant Partnerships team! Founded in 2006, PerkSpot is dedicated to inspiring others to love where they work by providing exclusive access to the best discounts available - anywhere. We ensure employees see offers curated to their interests, allowing them to save on electronics, home goods, meal delivery, mortgages, travel, and all the other little—and big—things that will make life a bit easier.

As a Sr. Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining vendor relationships and negotiating deals with some of the top brands in America. Our ideal candidate is someone with a background in account management who thrives in a role where they are able to acquire and manage their own clientele.


What you’ll accomplish:

  • Maintain and grow current PerkSpot exclusive offers – you’ll be responsible for negotiating even better exclusive discounts and driving more sales with current partners
  • Showcase your knack for detail as you use the PerkSpot website and tools to maintain an accurate list of the vendors and the discounts they offer
  • Strut your stuff as savvy deal maker. Identify great companies/apps/services and help get their offering in front of millions of employees who utilize our platform
  • Attend regular team and staff meetings to go over company goals, success benchmarks, and sales strategies
  • Ensure PerkSpot clients and their employees have access to the best possible savings
  • Constantly think of ways to make the PerkSpot experience better and more effective for its customers


What we’re looking for:

  • Desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment
  • Proven proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office; experience with Winmo, LinkedIn SN, and affiliate networks a plus!
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload
  • Background in advertising, sales, and/or affiliate marketing preferred
  • Positive attitude and a thoughtful approach to business development and contract negotiation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for sales
  • 3-7 years of experience in inside sales or business development
  • Goal-oriented and strategic mindset, with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work well within a team
  • Proven understanding of PerkSpot’s values as a whole and a willingness to work hard to achieve overall company goals
  • Strong work ethic - demonstrated desire to succeed in a sales-oriented role
