Sourcer, is part of a team within the Talent Acquisition & Innovation Center of Excellence (CoE) for the RWJBarnabas Health system responsible for finding candidates for open positions in their respective region and building a talent pipeline to meet hiring goals. They work closely with Talent Partners and qualify new candidates and verify their interest. Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition & Innovation of their respective region, this role will contribute to business needs by handling the talent sourcing processes.


The Role


  • Create and maintain relationships with universities, technical schools, and professional groups by engaging in regular communication, participating in meetings, networking events and seminars to build candidate pipelines.
  • Conducts market research to find candidate pools and trends to remain proactive and competitive in hiring plans.
  • Leverages the advanced functions and tools offered by social media platforms to source and attract candidates.
  • Analyzes data to gain insights about quality of candidates, candidate skill match to position requirements, and hiring SLAs or benchmarks
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency in using online tools and applications to identify active and passive candidates through creative marketing and messaging by clearly articulating RWJBH s value proposition.
  • Tracks, measures, and analyzes candidate data to create profiles of potential employees.
  • Develops and forms connections with team members and others in the organization as well as health care professionals in the regional community.
  • Drive sourcing capability and delivery to proactively build and maintain a network of inclusive candidate pipelines by leveraging all available talent channels including, but not limited to proactive market research, referrals, and association, alumni group, and organization partnerships.
  • Provides support to Talent Partners in assessing and interviewing candidates within the framework of the position specifications. Screen, interview, and prepare an ideal candidate slate within appropriate and consistent timelines.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand current critical and hard to fill roles, as well as future hiring needs.
  • Actively maintains the candidate database to track a candidate s journey and ensure a continuous talent pipeline.
  • Maintain high data integrity and accuracy of records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Proactively develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies to build and maintain a highly talented and diverse talent pipeline in alignment with RWJBH needs, aiding in expedited placement of candidates within the system.


Required Skills, Attributes, And Experiences


  • Work load management skill, ability to prioritize, ability to work independently, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task, and meeting established deadlines.
  • Prior talent acquisition, sourcing, or recruitment experience required; 3-5 years strongly preferred.
  • Ability to use interpersonal savvy to foster productive working relationships with others to drive results.
  • Prior experience working with ATS or HR systems is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with current sourcing techniques and platforms and the ability to remain current with developing new techniques and skills.
  • Fully embody the culture and core values of RWJBarnabas Health and lead by example.
  • Strong research and candidate generation skills.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth, fast paced corporate, or agency talent acquisition environment with prior sourcing experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor s Degree required. Degree in Human Resources, Business, or the Behavioral Sciences preferred.
  • Successful track record of achieving targets, whether those be meeting deadlines or meeting recruiting goals.
  • Efficiently and effectively uses time and resources in the workplace to be able to successfully accomplish tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns.
