Job Description

Our client is on a mission to make medications more affordable by modernizing pharmacy fulfillment. If you want to hear more about our client’s mission and how they will achieve it, apply!


Location

  • Brooklyn, NY


Mode of Work

  • Hybrid (a couple of days per week) in the client’s Brooklyn office


Responsibilities

  • Ship code on a daily cadence
  • Make product decisions
  • Work directly with customers
  • Own core pieces of our system


Qualifications (Mandatory)

  • A desire to focus on customer needs and solve real-world problems
  • Ability to write and debug production-quality backend code
  • Experience leading projects which involve collaboration with peers and customers
  • Ability to design new systems and evaluate the trade-offs in time to market, scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability
  • 5+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems


Tech stack

  • Full node.js on the backend
  • Moving towards more Kubernetes
  • React on the frontend, though moving towards Web Components
  • All AWS, a number of services within that umbrella (Lambda, EKS, RDS, EC2, etc.)
