As a member of the of the Engineering group, you'll be responsible for evaluating large amounts of data as part of the ongoing effort to optimize processes and delivery protocols. You'll operate as a trusted advisor as it relates to efficiencies and best practices. As a member of the team, you'll be able to say that you work for the world's largest retailer and contribute to the development to best-in-class methodologies that impacted perception and drastically changed business as we know it.

As a Software Engineer III part of Sam's Club, you will be responsible for performing the tasks of assigned Engineering projects by providing pertinent documents, direction, and examples; identifying short- and long- term solutions and timeline; reviewing and approving proposed solutions; implementing new architectural patterns; and performing design and code reviews of changes.

What You'll Do

• Create software applications based on provided architecture and design. Create unit and functional tests for quality check of your developed software applications.
• Participates in the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design by partnering with the product management, Web Operations, project management, business, and user experience teams; obtaining cross-function approvals; driving proof-of-concept; and implementing prototypes to validate ideas.
• Monitor production applications and production ML models. Troubleshoot production issues and come up with root cause analysis
• Develops Innovation strategies, processes, and best practices by leading internal technical teams; partnering with cross-functional teams across the business; developing assessments of key opportunities; documenting project scopes; developing long-range plans and project timelines; communicating with and influencing decision-makers and executives within the organization; and resolving technology differences across teams through informed discussions.

What You'll Bring...

• Experience with Machine Learning, MLOps, MLflow, Kubeflow, Python/R, SQL, Big Data, GCP, Shell scripting and Docker.
• Experience in building data pipelines
• Experience in ML models with webservices
• Strong experience in building in Python frameworks, Azure Cloud, GCP and DEV OPS
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and executing product/platform initiatives
• Experience in building highly Scalable and resilient systems in Cloud infrastructure
• Experience with tools (Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana )
• Experience in scaling infrastructure to support high-throughput data-intensive applications using PySpark/GPU.
• Experience in supervised learning
• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent disciplines with 1 to 2 years of relevant industry experience

The annual salary range for this position is $120,000.00-$170,000.00

Additional Compensation Includes Annual Or Quarterly Performance Incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

• Stock equity incentives
