Social Media Marketing Intern

Tequio is looking for a Marketing / Social Media Intern to join our Company. This individual will support the founders in all marketing activities, including content creation,social media, PR, partnerships, experiential, and much more.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is curious about all aspects of branding and communications – and preferably has some prior experience in marketing or social media. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and skilled at research and analysis and content creation. This is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience and be an integral part of a small team – your work will make a real impact.

Tequio is based in Venice but you will be asked to work in other areas around LA or occasionally join meetings at odd hours, but you will mainly be collaborating with the founders in Venice

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to develop content across marketing channels
• Assist in launching CLO accounts for new platforms (e.g., TikTok)
• Assist in social media posting and management on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Curate user-created content and perform basic community management tasks (e.g., interacting with users on social media platforms)
• Assist in event planning activities
• Draft marketing copy as needed
• Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities
• Research and analyze marketing opportunities, including partnerships, events, and sponsorships

Requirements

• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools
• Experience with Google Drive & related tools (bonus if you’ve used Asana, Slack, and other similar platforms)
• Interest in fashion, tech, and the intersection of both
• Ability to manage own projects and work independently
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Must be 21 years of age
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
