EvansHardy+Young is a Santa Barbara-based marketing communications firm providing advertising, public relations, media planning/buying, social media and digital/web services. Our core strategic focus is the food category, including consumer packaged goods and food commodity marketing orders. We enjoy long-term relationships with some of the nation’s most recognized and respected food brands.
We are looking for a seasoned Social Media Manager to create and maintain a strong social media presence for food and beverage brand accounts. As a Social Media Manager, your primary focus will be increasing brand awareness and engagement through the effective use of social media channels for one or more agency-managed accounts.
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of professional experience managing social media accounts for national brands, building social media audiences, planning content strategies, and creating social media content for in-feed posts and social ads. They should also have experience managing influencer partnerships and reporting on program results.
Responsibilities
- Measure the success of social media campaigns and recommend optimizations to increase performance.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and management platforms/applications.
- Plan and manage paid social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with other team members, departments, and clients like creative, media, account service, etc.
- Create, maintain, and grow new and existing social networks, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
- Research new media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities.
- Develop and implement social media brand strategies and campaign plans to achieve client KPIs.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of assigned social media accounts.
- Create engaging written and visual content for social media channels and blogs.
- Present content strategy plans and new proposals to Clients with the objective of selling through new concepts and ideas.
- Create informative and inspirational creative briefs for internal teams.
- Lead and participate in integrated brainstorm sessions and apply to content plans.
- Develop and oversee influencer marketing programs.
Requirements
- Analytical and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
- Experience working with Hootsuite or other social media management tool is preferred.
- Proven work experience in a lead Social Media role; 5 years professional social media experience.
- Knowledge of online marketing channels.
- BA degree in Marketing or relevant field.
The range of pay for this position is $60,000- $70,000. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and the individual's knowledge, skills and experience. Pay range may be modified in the future.
This position will require a full-time presence in our downtown Santa Barbara headquarters 5 days per week. No relocation package will be provided.
