Job Description


Primary Purpose


Responsible for creating, developing, and publishing social media content that aligns with our brand objectives. You will work with the team to drive engagement to a wide audience, managing our social media presence, developing content calendars, creating social media campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize our social media presence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in gaining experience in their field while working for a Fortune 100 company.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Manage social media platforms to support our content calendar
  • Responsible to develop and help facilitate broad-based, B2B social media programs, their implementation, and results
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Create and manage a content calendar that aligns with brand messaging and drives engagement with our target audience
  • Create engaging content that aligns with our brand’s look and feel, while bringing new ideas to the market and to our team
  • Research topics and trends to cover as well as creators to partner with
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Actively engage with the Client Development/Marketing team in drafting copy to be approved by senior leadership
  • Source third-party content to repost across platforms
  • Conduct research on various projects
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure social media strategies align with overall brand goals
  • Coordinate and assist with the larger corporate communications plan and calendar
  • Employ best practices for follower engagement


Minimum Skills And Competencies


  • Positive attitude, detailed and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Possess a passion for social media marketing
  • Demonstrable social networking experience
  • Able to work independently as well as collaborate successfully
  • A command of B2B strategies for social media, brand awareness and/or digital marketing
  • Pursuing a degree, or have graduated with a degree, in Marketing, Advertising or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to inform and engage via written and visual media


Desired Skills


  • Possess a blend of strategy, technical, creative, analytic and project management expertise
  • Basic knowledge of the insurance and/or mortgage lending industries
  • Conceptualize, design, and implement creative graphics and content
  • Basic photo and video editing skills and software usage

The base range offered for the role is: $37,440 ($18/hour) and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge and experience; among other factors. Other financial components may be added as part of the competitive compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
