Social Media Coordinator/Photographer

The Social Media Coordinator/photographer is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring each store's social media content to increase brand awareness and promote customer engagement. This position is also responsible for photographing new and pre-owned vehicles ensuring that all photos are on our websites and third-party sites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with marketing team to create a monthly social media calendar.
• Maintain unified voice across different social media channels.
• Work with store personnel to learn about new models, service offers, events/sales, etc... for content creation.
• Develop and create engaging content for our websites, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other various platforms.
• Attend events to capture and produce social media content (this may include occasional nights and weekends).
• Assist in the creation and editing of video and photo content.
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
• Adhere to all brand standards and compliance.

• Use Penske Photography Guide when photographing vehicles to ensure consistency.
• Work with other data collectors and store management to ensure process is working and vehicles are shot in a timely fashion and to locate missing inventory.
• Develop process for photographing vehicles on days of disrupted weather.
• Maintain a system of efficiently photographing new and used vehicles and uploading them into appropriate dealer accounts.
• Correctly mark vehicles that are photographed.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Knowledge of copyrighting and adhering to PAG photo/video policies.
• Proficiency with video and photo editing tools and different digital media formats.
• Ability to understand current and future trends with digital content.
• Passion for social media and video.
• Valid in-state driver's license.
• Good driving record and ability to drive a manual transmission strongly preferred.
• Ability to use a camera and understand the camera settings.
• Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Professional appearance.
