The Social Marketing Creator for Alchemee (previously The Proactiv Company) will be responsible for researching best practices for social media posts that are relevant for the brand, and creating ideas into videos, images, infographics and text captions. He/She will also help the Senior Manager, Social Media Channels to create and execute a content calendar. A deep interest in current social media trends is required to be successful in this role.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is experienced at multitasking projects, assisting in planning-related tasks, and has an eagerness to learn and grow. This person must have strong analytical skills, be comfortable with challenging the status quo of current processes and provide solutions to drive efficiencies, display a strong sense of ownership and be committed to their work.
Essential Functions
- Develop and execute videos and images for new product launches.
- Share KPI results with the team.
- Retailer PDP pages + social (Amazon, CVS, Walgreens, Target, etc)
- Assist with influencer campaigns and partner coordination.
- Curation of 5 static images and graphics that are leveraged across all brand-owned social channels as well as offered to paid, SMS, email, + retail.
- Create and post Social media content and develop and communicate strategy.
- Partner with customer service and product innovation team to relay product and order-specific questions, to ensure timely and efficient responses to customer outreach, as needed.
- Community engagement and engagement with online customers.
- Identify opportunities to participate in relevant social trends where appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Development and execution of videos for brand-owned PDP to be leveraged across site, retailer pages, email, social, paid ads. Evergreen delivery on a rolling bases: Curation of 30 brand-owned videos per month that are leveraged across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, email, website, PDP pages, broadcast TV, Pad ads, Reddit, You Tube.
- Scheduling and posting of 45+ pieces of social content per month across social media channels at peak times based on weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and learnings.
- Collaborate with marketing team to ensure that every piece of content is relevant and helps the company maximize engagement, reach and sales and aligns with our brand voice and regulatory requirements.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to turn a concept into compelling content.
- Ability to work with creative tools like Adobe.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Arts, or similar discipline, preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- Ability to balance work across a variety of projects and timelines simultaneously.
- Extensive knowledge of the popular social media platforms.
- Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy.
- Two plus years of demonstrated experience working as a social marketing creator required, preferably in an in-house web team for a product-driven business or at a digital agency.
- Proven experience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms—Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content.
