Social Content Creator (Wellness)

Role Overview: We are seeking a Social Content Creator who specializes in paid and owned content creation to be part of or growing creative and marketing team. The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller that is savvy on the latest social trends and can capture the moment on their iPhone effortlessly. They will be the driving force behind our brand look and story across owned social channels in partnership with brand marketing and will need to create high performing, iterative paid social content in partnership with our growth team. The Social Content Creator will report into our Head of Design and work closely with our designers, copy and content lead, and marketing/growth teams.

Social Content Creator Responsibilities:

• Attending relevant brand events and shoots to capture, produce, and post real-time social media content (mostly NYC, occasionally DC, Texas and Chicago)
• Partner with the design team on the creation of social assets look and feel across all types of content
• Influence the way we show up across social media channels, from Instagram Posts, Stories, and Reels, to spearheading trial of different content strategies on ever-evolving social media platforms like TikTok
• Brief influencers on content needs for key tentpole paid, partnerships and events
• Create social assets for employees to post on personal channels for monthly themes and key brand moments
• Partner with marketing on employee playbook and training for social content on their channels within our spaces
• Create all product (service) and brand content for paid and organic social on iphone
• Able to interface with key medical providers and leadership (CEO) to capture educational and brand building content
• Partner with the Director of Copy and Content on the planning and ideation of monthly content for organic social channels with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok
• Stay current TikTok and IG reels trends to be able to create content in those of-the-moment styles through the lens of our brand

Social Content Creator Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Google suite of tools (Sheets, Slides)
• Proficient in one or many of the Adobe suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro)
• 6+ years experience social media content development (in-house, agency or publisher)
• Experience in content for services, beauty, hospitality, or experienced based brands is strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in design, marketing or a related field
• Comfortable being hybrid in NYC and traveling occasionally
• Experience using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprinklr)
