Shipping Coordinator

Georgia-Pacific, Madison Plywood is seeking a Shipping Coordinator in Madison, GA. The Shipping Coordinator is responsible ensuring product is loaded and shipped on time. This person will direct shift team members on what product to load and coordinate with transportation providers.

All interested applicants must demonstrate a pattern of safe behavior, good attendance, good disciplinary record, initiative, effective communication skills, basic computer skills and problem-solving skills.

This position requires that you work 1 st Shift. The Shift schedule is Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday. The hours for the shift are 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The minimum starting pay is $21.00 per hour.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Produce BOL’s
• Work with customer service and sales on customer priorities
• Provide email communication to team members and customers.
• Direct team members on loading priorities
• Monitor production line ups for orders ready to ship.

Requirements

• Must be able to work the first day of each month for inventory.
• Minimum of 2 years in a shipping coordinator role in a manufacturing environment
