As a Parcel/Shipping Consultant with experience in implementing Connectship, Proship, and similar shipping software products, your role will revolve around assisting clients in optimizing their parcel shipping operations. You will leverage your expertise in Connectship, Proship, and other similar shipping solutions to provide consultation, implementation, and ongoing support to clients. Your goal will be to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and streamlined shipping processes that meet the unique requirements of each client.
Responsibilities:
• Client Engagement: Engage directly with clients to understand their parcel shipping needs, business processes, and challenges. Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation process.
• Requirements Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis and documentation of client requirements, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement. Translate business needs into system configurations and customization options within Connectship, Proship, or similar shipping software. • Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and develop comprehensive shipping solutions using Connectship, Proship, or equivalent software products. Create detailed implementation plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• System Configuration: Configure Connectship, Proship, or other shipping software to align with client specifications, including carrier integrations, shipping rules, rate shopping, label customization, and reporting. Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and adherence to business requirements.
• Training and Support: Provide hands-on training to client end-users on utilizing Connectship, Proship, or similar shipping software effectively. Develop user guides, documentation, and conduct training sessions to facilitate smooth system adoption. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize shipping processes to enhance efficiency, cost effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and carrier service optimization using Connectship, Proship, or related software capabilities.
• Project Management: Assist project managers in coordinating implementation activities, tracking progress, and managing client expectations. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, proactively addressing challenges during the implementation process.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in parcel shipping technologies. Identify opportunities to enhance Connectship, Proship, or similar software products and provide feedback and insights to the product development team based on client experiences.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Previous experience implementing and configuring shipping software solutions such as Connectship, Proship, or similar products.
• Strong understanding of parcel shipping processes, carrier integrations, shipping rules, rate shopping, label generation, and reporting.
• Proficiency in software implementation methodologies, project management principles, and change management practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex business requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and cross functional teams.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions within established timelines.
• Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and onsite implementation support.
