Job Description
Community Liaison will be responsible for connecting with schools, community leaders, emergency shelters etc and county authorities like first responders, caretakers, cops and veterans. They will serve 6 days a week, 5 hours each day. They will collect the data from the county and assess the needs of the Mental health program and conduct few mental health first aid awareness sessions to the community and clients. They will report to the Program manager. Our AmeriCorps Members serve a minimum of 1200 hours for a 12-month term of service from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024 Coordinate workshops, activities on weekdays and on weekends Maintain accurate records and electronic files of outreach efforts. Maintain timesheets and hours spent on, site visits, meeting and training etc. and get them approved by program manager Support events such as the mental health awareness session series, Lead SELF activities ( Hiking, Yoga etc) Members may be required to perform other position-related instructions within the scope of their normal service activities, as requested by their Supervisor, in alignment with the terms and conditions of the AmeriCorps grant & that are not unallowable or prohibited activities, and subject to reasonable accommodation. Education and Experience Required At least high school diploma or equivalent required SkillsRequired Computer skills, including Word, and Excel, G Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and general office skills, public relations skills. Knowledge of marketing and promotion. Ability to work as a member of a team and collaborate with others Attend and participate in weekly planning meetings and weekly supervision Must have access to internet (cellphone, tablet, laptop) Location: Milpitas, San Jose, Dublin, Livermore, Newark, San Ramon, Manteca, Mountain House Be sure to indicate which city you are interested in serving

Maintain timesheets and hours spent on, site visits, meeting and training etc. and get them approved by program manager Marginal Functions Support events such as the mental health awareness session series, Lead SELF activities ( Hiking, Biking, Yoga etc), and community service projects Members may be required to perform other position-related instructions within the scope of their normal service activities, as requested by their Supervisor, in alignment with the terms and conditions of the AmeriCorps grant AND that are not unallowable or prohibited activities, and subject to reasonable accommodation.
