Mental Health Worker / Recovery Coach (Full-Time Overnight And On Call)

Title: Recovery Coach (Entry Level Mental Health Worker)

Job Duties: The Recovery Coach (Entry Level Mental Health Worker) is responsible for assisting in the provision of the therapeutic milieu by monitoring and communicating with clients, providing rehabilitation groups under supervision, and assisting in crisis intervention. Other duties for the Recovery Coach (Entry Level Mental Health Worker) may be assigned as needed by the Director of Nursing, the Program Director, or a Designee.

Schedule:

• Full-Time (Overnight Shift / Tuesday- Saturday): 11pm-7:30am
• On Call (varied shifts as needed for shift coverage) 8hr. shifts (AM:7am-3:30pm, PM:3pm-11:30pm, Noc:11pm-7:30am)

Qualifications:

• Driving duties may be assigned, including the transportation of clients. Candidates must have a valid CA Drivers License and successfully pass a DMV driving history check.
• Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
• In the absence of two years experience, training may be substituted. This training will be based on, but not limited to, the in-service plan for 20 hours.

About the Campus: Santa Barbara Crisis Residential provides a voluntary, short-term safe place to land for guests experiencing a psychiatric crisis. Our guests are greeted into a warm, homelike environment and we provide them with a variety of recovery-based tools such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and Trauma-Informed Approaches to help them to manage their symptoms and develop skills to live effectively in the community. The clinical treatment team is comprised of people with lived experience, who are trained and certified peer providers, with a wide-array of clinical expertise. Our guests are also encouraged to utilize our Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network program that provides pre-vocational job skills training.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range:

$19.50—$19.50 USD
