Job Responsibilities:

As an Assistant at the Pain Trauma Institute, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and the well-being of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and providing a warm, supportive environment. (remote)
• Assisting with patient scheduling, appointment coordination, and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborating with our extensive referral network medical professionals to facilitate patient care and treatment plans.
• Handling phone calls, emails, and inquiries from patients and external stakeholders.
• Managing administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
• Support with surf therapy groups. (a plus)

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and office software.
• A bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Surf Therapy Facilitator a plus.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is preferred.
• Strong communication abilities and a compassionate nature.
