A leading technology company is seeking a Service Technical Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for the calibration, adjustment, and repair of various torque and hand tools. The ideal candidate has related experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test equipment. The company offers a family-oriented culture and environment!


Service Technical Support Specialist Pay And Benefits


  • Hourly pay: $19/hr
  • Worksite: Electronics Testing and Measurement Company (Largo, FL 33777)
  • W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
  • 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment


Service Technical Support Specialist Responsibilities


  • Adhere to established production processes and is responsible for achieving established team production goals.
  • Be responsible for the calibration, adjustment, and repair of various torque and hand tools.
  • Solve problems requiring breadth/depth of knowledge of calibration, metrology principles, and preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Recommend corrective actions resulting in solutions that are cost-effective and enhance the process.
  • Maintain high workmanship standards and deliver on commitments.
  • Use daily work schedules to appropriately factor volume, priority, customer expectations, and service center goals into decision-making processes.
  • Maximize the use of existing assets, multi-tasks effectively, and ensure resources are used properly.
  • Provide consistent, solid contributions to team and service center delivery goals.
  • Escalate issues through appropriate channels when necessary. This is done verbally or via written correspondence.
  • Perform adjustments, and calibrations.
  • May initiate customer interaction as appropriate.
  • Solve technical problems of limited scope and complexity.


Service Technical Support Specialist Qualifications


  • PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are required.
  • High School Graduate/GED, some specialized training/certification, or Military experience.
  • Prior experience is strongly preferred.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Work with clearly defined objectives on customer service assignments that may be repetitive in nature.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate electronic and mechanical competence.
  • Exercise good discretion in the use of time and other of our resources.
  • 1+ years of related experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test equipment.


Service Technical Support Specialist Shift


  • Monday to Friday from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM.


Compensation: From $19.00 to $19.00 per hour
