The Dinex Group, Chef Daniel Boulud’s internationally acclaimed restaurant group, has opened a new multiple-venue fine, fine-casual, and upscale bar/lounge location on the 55th floor of One Vanderbilt.
The newest property is an exclusive, elegant space that provides guests with the highest level of service and hospitality. We are committed to creating a unique experience for each one of our guests and are looking for experienced and enthusiastic hospitality professionals to join our team.
The SERVER ASSISTANT is responsible for preparing the dining room for service, table maintenance and contributing to the general flow of the restaurant.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to provide the highest standard of service, superior communication/interpersonal skills, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle a high volume environment.

• General knowledge and interest in food and wine with a desire to learn and grow
• Strong Time Management Skills
• Pleasant demeanor and professional composure
• Impeccable grooming as defined by management and dress code
• Stand for long periods during service
• Professional Communication Proficiency
• Able to take direction and complete tasks
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs if necessary
• Punctual with a strong sense of urgency and work ethic with the ability to multitask
• Customer Centric
• Actively practice food safety procedures
• Knowledge of tableside etiquette in an upscale environment
• A warm, compassionate, and team-focused approach
• Organizational skills with careful attention to detail

Position requires:

• Full availability - daytime hours, evening hours and weekends
• Drug screening
• Reference check

Compensation:

• $15.00 per hour
• Paid time off /Sick Pay
