PCS, a Modivcare Service, is looking for an experienced Senior Vice President - COO. You will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the business unit to establish long-range goals as well as product and market strategies. You will maintain operational and financial efficiencies while maximizing revenue and profitability while adhering to the organization’s mission and values.

  • Drive positive Modivcare brand awareness and presence.
  • Direct and lead senior management team to plan, identify and implement strategies of new markets and products generating resources and revenues.
  • Maintain credibility throughout the organization to assist in making wise and sound business decisions.
  • Benchmark own performance against industry best practices.
  • Define and drive long-term operational excellence, including lean transformation, driving key metrics to track the health of the business, and driving initiatives to further support significant operational leverage.
  • Direct and coach senior leaders on all human resource related processes including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, selection, terminations, compensation and rewards.
  • Build infrastructure to scale business properly to drive effective and profitable growth.
  • Own attainment of high employee satisfaction and retention; lead development of program and initiatives within group to attain high employee satisfaction.
  • Prepare and manage budget as assigned; analyze variances and initiate corrective actions to maximize operational performance.
  • Determine appropriate resourcing of staff in order to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrate ability to direct and interact collaboratively and communicate effectively with external, internal customers, and stakeholders to address issues and ensure alignment across the organization to drive customer success.
  • Create and execute strategic and operational plans; oversees the application and implementation of established policies, and the control and effective utilization of financial resources.
  • Build an effective senior leadership team through mentoring and formal education that focuses on management and project management principles.
  • Create an environment that embraces growth, operational improvement, service excellence and compliance.
  • Enable higher performance by incrementally improving approaches based on calculated risks and benefits.
  • Direct and mentor senior leaders on performance gaps, career development opportunities, and strategies.
  • Revise strategy, propose new directions for the business unit linked to the evolving marketplace.
  • Define the evolving future of market/market segments, and using logic and evidence, contrasts with the present.
  • Oversee the activities of operational management and provide leadership to the business unit to advance objectives and promote revenue, profitability, and growth.
  • Evaluate market viability of existing products, operational and financial efficiencies, sales plans and “go to market” strategies.
  • Be accountable for strategic design, execution, and collective results along with others’ successful contributions.
  • Define annual Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals.
  • Identify and oversee due diligence of acquisition opportunities and directs implementation activities.
  • Direct and influence change management initiatives to drive improvements and efficiencies cross-functionally.
  • Oversee and manage major activities and day-to-day operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service and cost-effective management of resources in compliance with partner regulations.
  • Design a performance management process to monitor projects and deliver results that exceed expectations.
  • Proactively seek to improve processes and implement best in class solutions, raising quality and productivity in a calculated way.
  • Promote a culture that reflects organizational values including integrity, service excellence, fulfillment, and collaboration.

  • Proven track record of driving operational improvements and growth and bringing best in class processes in order to successfully scale a large platform.
  • Strong business acumen and experience with profit and loss responsibility.
  • Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills and build relationships with a broad range and level of staff.
  • Demonstrated skill in workforce management and work leadership of an organization employing a large number of professional and non-professional staff. Requires the ability to create plans for optimal use of staff and material resources of the organization.
  • Experience with healthcare services and call center expertise is ideal, yet large scale distributed services experience at a company known for operational excellent is acceptable as well.
  • Experience driving process improvements and building a trusted relationship with the field while building satisfaction levels inside and outside of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure while demonstrating excellent leadership and motivational skills.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Entrepreneurial thinker and visionary with strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to remain organized while dealing with competing demands.
  • Proven experience managing P&Ls, directing teams, negotiating with suppliers, managing complex tasks, providing analysis, and monitoring the quality metrics of work areas.
  • Experience creating a consistent and standardized operating model across a network of locations in a services business.
  • Financial background with a broad knowledge and ability to generate funding strategies and sources with a keen understanding of marketing and sales.
  • Demonstrated commitment and track record for managing and driving quality, innovation and customer service.
  • Must possess extensive experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong problem solving, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Twelve (12) plus years leadership responsibility leading teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field required, Master's Degree preferred.
  • Eighteen (18) plus years of experience within a related industry.
  • Operational experience with effective people and budget management skills.


Salary: $252,900 - $354,000


Bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
