Position Overview
We are looking for a curious and inquisitive HR Business Partner who will support change and be a true partner to the HRBP community and the business. The PPL Team @ Autodesk
You will join a People and Places organization in this unique HR business partner role aligned to specific practice areas of the business. This is a role designed to support specific initiatives across multiple divisions focused on critical business objectives and HR strategies.
Responsibilities
Organizational Partnership & Results
  • Support the business strategy by identifying, prioritizing, and building organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
  • Partner with leaders to establish plans and deliver solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives and drive results. Develop a people strategy focused on organizational design, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent, and overall business performance.
Leadership Effectiveness
  • Aligned to BU strategy, provide thought partnership to leadership in forecasting and planning talent pipeline with the function/business strategy
  • In close collaboration with senior leadership, facilitate line-of-sight initiatives to build a high-performing organization aligned with the strategic leadership agenda
  • Ensure psychological safety and strong advocacy of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging
  • Support People BU processes (performance, development, and career) to ensure that leaderships’ level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards
Employee Experience
  • Ensure alignment of total rewards and recognition with performance
  • Partner with HRBP leadership and Learning and Organization Development team to implement appropriate interventions
  • Support and drive specific projects defined by annual BU People Plans as well as participate in ongoing functional and cross-functional initiatives
  • Support feedback mechanisms and employee surveys to influence the continuous improvement of employee experiences and business outcomes
  • Ensure a safe and open environment, where diverse perspectives are valued and appreciated. Ensure alignment to our Culture Code (Values and Ways We Work)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of HR experience (at least 5+ years of HRBP experience supporting leaders with global teams)
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including organizational design, succession planning, performance management, diversity/inclusion, business consulting, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, culture keeping, employee engagement, coaching/development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, employee relations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coaching accreditation
  • Knowledge of HR compliance regulations, employment laws, and industry best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, industrial and labor relations, business administration, human resources, or similar disciplines with 7+years of HR experience
  • Team player with a sense of ownership and “get things done” attitude - self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environment
  • Experience providing business partnership and support to a diverse group of leaders and executives
  • Successful track record of implementing HR processes, performance management, and change management
  • Project Management and/or Program Management experience
  • Able to combine great people intuition, business judgment, and discretion in your decision-making
  • Workday experience
  • Consultative approach to strategic partnership
  • Relevant experiences in tech, software (or SaaS) industries
  • Ability to take business goals/priorities and translate them into initiatives
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution and management practices within a complex, global, and matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal), the ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities and adapt to a fluid, high-growth environment

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $114,900 and $185,900. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
