Key Responsibilities:

  • Support regional airports, customer service centers, contact centers and all United facilities
  • Technology infrastructure support, operational equipment and communication rooms, base location inventory management and supply storage
  • Required to attend weekly Tech Hub and Service Desk team meetings
  • Manage day to day activities for enterprise level support for iOS and Android, Drives AV innovation and standardization across the region, performs CCTV Testing, diagnostics, and repairs of product for the region
  • Have a solid background in project management, has a demonstrable understanding in Telecommunications Standards & practices
  • Responsible for managing (DT) Digital Technology aspects of large projects that are diverse and sophisticated Coordinates project planning, training, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost
  • Candidate will ensure United's IT Critical Infrastructure standards are followed
  • Duties include Walkthroughs, (DT) Digital Technology Equipment, preventative maintenance, mobility product support, (DT) Digital
  • Required to interact with vendors and contractors
  • Network Engineering, WAN Engineering, WiFi Engineering, mobility Engineering
  • Supports the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor work
  • Mentor/develop engineers and contractors
  • System maintenance/ administration, diagnostics, automated imaging of PC equipment/IT Infrastructure, installation and removal of PC equipment
  • Attends regional project meetings and provides project tracking and analysis
  • Ability to represent the United brand and take ownership of the Tech Hub
  • Have organization & communication skills as well as customer service skills, focus on customer service
  • The role is involved in project support of LAN "Local Area Network" WAN "Wide Area Network" VOIP "Voice Over IP"CCTV "Closed Circuit Television" and Mobility platforms
  • Trending analysis and reporting
  • Understand technical/business requirements captured from the business units
  • Coordinate activities with internal/external technology owners/service providers
  • The role will be the interface between Field Services and internal/external business partners
  • Ensures The Main Distribution Frame (MDF) room and intermediate distribution frame (IDF) conform to established enterprise/industry standards (BICSI) Building Industry Consulting Service International, (EIA) Electronic Industries Alliance, (TIA) Telecom Industry association, monitor, manage, and maintain (DT) Digital Technology infrastructure and end user equipment to ensure encouraged availability and performance levels are achieved

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Ability to work on site at the DEN airport tech hub (24x7 operation)
  • Active dedication to self-development
  • Ability to communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences as well as impeccable customer service skills
  • Willing and able to travel
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good level of poise in high pressure environments
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Technical capability and ability to learn new technologies
  • Skills for problem solving, looking beyond the obvious and not stopping at the first answer
  • Resource management
  • Mobility IOS/Android, Windows, LAN room and (DT) Digital technology Infrastructure experience (Copper, fiber optic)
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Equivalent IT Experience
  • 5 years of IT infrastructure experience (field services)

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • SNOW reporting experience
  • A certification from (BICSI) Building Industry Consulting Service International

Salary:

  • The salary for this position is $73,800 to $108,240, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
