JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Project Manager – Healthcare is responsible and accountable for ensuring that all assigned operations are performed according to applicable standards and specifications, and to good construction practices. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to bring innovation, collaboration, and technological advancement to assist our clients in delivering complex projects.
PROJECT LOCATION: Bronx, NY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform field measurements for quantity calculations and reporting for pay estimates
- Assist the Senior Program and Construction Manager in managing project staff and performing field inspection and documentation of the Contractor's activities
- May assume lead responsibilities for a team of engineers and professional support personnel
- Provide quality inspection to ensure that job is being built in accordance with approved plans
- Participate in the submittal, RFI, RFC, construction submittal reviews, claim reviews, and draft responses for review by the Senior Program and Construction Manager
- Works on projects of substantial complexity
- Participate in meetings
- Communicate effectively with the project team, including Clients, Contractors, and Project Stakeholders
- Assist in contractor’s monthly evaluations
- Assist in constructability reviews
- Work alongside of the executive managers to deliver a capital portfolio
- Coordinate the work of field inspectors
- Assist the Senior Program and Construction Manager in their duties
- Monitor and report on construction progress
- Assist in guiding the project team to manage all phases of the project life cycle including but not limited to budgeting, planning, logistics, etc
- Assist in Monitoring project budget
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and experience in MEP / HVAC / Generator are a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Submittal Exchange, and other project management software
- Demonstrated experience in managing program/project teams on large complex healthcare projects
- Excellent English language skills, written and verbal
- NYC HHC experience is a plus
- Ability to establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with associates, contractors, and the public
- Understanding of the agency’s policies, procedures, and Infrastructure’s Standard Construction Operating Procedures (SCOP’s)
- Extremely organized and detailed oriented, with the ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple requests in a growing company environment
- Ability to become thoroughly familiar with contract requirements, site conditions, and special provisions including all relevant standards, requirements, and stipulations
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree (B. S., or B.A.) in Engineering or Construction Management and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience (clinical renovations, owner representative/project management experience, specifically in hospital, healthcare systems, high-rise construction, etc)
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA) and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred
- OSHA 30-Hour Certificate

$80.00/hour-$90.00/hour (approximately)
