The Senior Product Manager serves as a Platform Owner of ISOnet (the external customer facing content delivery platform), accountable for helping to set the platform strategy, executing on the same, and ensuring a great customer experience across the core applications. The Senior Product Manager also performs business process analysis on complex internal systems (e.g., content creation systems, content repositories, ISOnet) and customer-facing products including documentation, recommendations, integration points, process and configuration changes, design reviews, impact assessments, and user testing to ensure that systems and products are developed/function according to specifications, meet customer needs, and follow best practices.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to define platform and product features and functions that will help solve problems and add value. These include but are not limited to, defining and documenting business functions and processes; analyzing usage and system data, integration points, and automation processes. Contribute to the creation of a comprehensive product roadmap to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Lead the product development team throughout the software development lifecycle, collaborating on how to best implement new product features from the user perspective, effectively prioritizing and supporting execution of stories, and removing roadblocks where necessary. Develop best practices and tools for requirements and design specifications, and coordinate standards with other internal product teams.
  • Understand customer journeys and user personas and create hypotheses and tests to validate or disprove. Create wireframes, conceptual prototypes and/or mock-ups, and facilitate user testing of changes to existing products or development of new products.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements through automation and/or technique, including analytics implementation, etc.
Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI workflow design and specifications as well as usability testing.
  • Ability to quickly learn systems and applications, connect functions to business context, and translate IT concepts and terminology to non-technical clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of software development concepts, analytics programs (Site Catalyst, Google Analytics), web application development, prototyping tools, and Agile and Lean methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Solid facilitation, presentation and collaboration skills.
  • Four-year college degree in business, marketing, product management, information technology, or related discipline with 5+ years’ experience. Additional certifications preferred (CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and business analysis skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, excellent follow through, and the ability to work independently and with resources at all levels of management.
