Job Description

Are you an experienced, detail-oriented mortgage loan processor who can successfully aid applicants in navigating the mortgage lending process? If so, we are looking for you! We are currently seeking a skilled and high-producing mortgage processor to work with our team. Compensation:

$45,000 - $65,000

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and submit loan packages to the lender underwriters for approval or denial
  • Order property and loan documentation such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records to help process mortgage loan files
  • Liaise between the mortgage lending underwriting department, mortgage loan originators, real estate agents, and applicants to facilitate loan approval
  • Collect and verify necessary financial documentation, such as credit reports, to complete mortgage loan applications and determine creditworthiness
  • Input detailed loan process documentation in our system - from origination to close
  • Assure that loan files meet banking and regulatory guidelines and policies
Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and time management skills and superior attention to detail
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have tons of knowledge regarding underwriting requirements for all loan types.
  • Experience with Encompass is a plus.
  • Experience with brokering loans is a plus but not required.
  • Expert-level skills in using AUS systems
  • At least 8 years of residential mortgage lending experience as an independent mortgage banker or correspondent lender.
  • CONVENTIONAL/FHA/VA/USDA/JUMBO experience required.
