Position Summary
The Senior Manager/Associated Director, Commercial Operations will participate in the launch of VP102 and the development of the commercial organization, as well as any other Verrica products or departments as directed. The individual will work closely with the commercial organization by providing analytical, logistical and project management support for key initiatives. In conjunction with sales leadership, the individual will develop and administer incentive plans, targeting, goals and forecasting and participate in development of territory alignments, zip to territory files and working with sales dashboards.
Work closely with our physician/patient services platform to socialize key physician’s data into a reportable field force platform. Work closely with all commercial functions in development of CRM reporting platforms, business planning tools and launch development.
Lead and monitor critical projects across the Verrica organization. Work collaboratively with the commercial team to develop appropriate controls and monitors, lead project updates and assign work streams as needed.
Lead all data quality assurance by providing expertise in the analysis of all data inquiries received from investigation to satisfactory resolution while maintaining good business practices to assure data quality and integrity for all vendors and customers.
Additional responsibilities will include helping to assist ancillary functions- fleet auto program, deployment and onboarding of new hires, new hire training workshops and lend support on commercial functions.
Lead territory alignments by conducting modeling to determine field force sizing, territories, prescriber counts, zip code boundaries etc.
Assume additional assignments that are reasonably requested by the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Work with agencies and vendors as needed to develop market sizing information, field force alignment, market segmentation, targeting and call plan modeling, and market intelligence.
  • Lead/Assist sales training workshops as needed.
  • Work on the development of the launch plan and development of operations infrastructure to support the launch of VP102 and any other Verrica products as directed.
  • Work with the commercial team for timely reporting on organizational objectives. Collaborate with data vendors and BI partners to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Develop market preparation and launch plan for additional indications to VP 102.
  • Lead internal work groups to ensure sales force effectiveness is achieved through all segments of the business.
  • Serve as a business partner – Sales, Market Access, Marketing and Channel Strategy and other strategic functions across Verrica.
  • Participate in customer projects, business reviews and field rides to continue as needed.
  • Develop the business planning tools for our business review process.
  • Design and develop the launch CRM platform and all key analytical tools and functions to support the commercial organization.
Requirements
  • Committed to Verrica’s vision, mission, core values and culture.
  • Work with data warehouses, data vendors and aggregators.
  • Proven experience assessing high levels of data and synthesizing into usable reports for commercial stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in Business, Quantitative fields, or Health Science related fields.
  • Experience in commercial operations, with knowledge of planning territory goals, designing and implementing IC plans, commercial planning, development of analytical platforms, CRM systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and influence skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and work successfully with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand how to use APLD claims data and RX data.
  • 5+ years of experience in progressive commercial analytics and/or commercial operations experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical devices industries required.
  • Experience in developing the critical and core processes for commercial operations.
