Role Overview:

As the Senior Manager of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day functions of the department. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of our business operations while driving efficiency and productivity across all levels. Your leadership and management skills will be key in fostering a high-performing team and maintaining a positive work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Set clear performance goals and objectives for team members and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture that encourages innovation, teamwork, and professional development.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of 25+ employees in a fully remote environment.


Operational Efficiency:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize business processes and operational workflows.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that operational targets and service levels are met.


Negotiation and Vendor Management:

  • Ensure effective vendor management and adherence to established service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing terms.


Detail Orientation and Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure that all processes, deliverables, and services meet the highest quality standards.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.


Tech Savvy and Innovation:

  • Propose and drive the adoption of innovative technologies and tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements relevant to the organization's operations.


Problem Solving and Decision Making:

  • Implement effective problem-solving methodologies to tackle various operational hurdles.
  • Analyze complex operational challenges and make data-driven decisions to resolve issues promptly.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior operations management role with demonstrated success in managing teams and driving operational excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in various software tools and systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
