Section 2: Job description

This role requires visionary leadership with the ability to inspire other creatives through a built environment. The work of retail focuses on both longer-term and short-term brand expression. And retail Design links closely with the creation of brand identity. Partner with Dir Retail Creative and Creative Brand leads, develop, and execute a wide variety of assets for product launches in-stores (Salon Centric, ULTA, Sephora) and key salons. Ensure the brand equity is maintained, strengthen, and expressed consistently through salon, store, to chains. The role demands strong skills in graphic communication, 2D and 3D- spatial design (environmental, retail, architecture, interior) and deep knowledge of the store, retail channel, and salon and consumer and shopper behavior.

  • Think independently and be able to understand business objectives and priority and able to develop creative strategies and execution which meets business needs.
  • Be able to present ideas to brand management team and influence decision making with team.
  • Be the knowledge holder of top customer retail and salon environment. Constantly strive for better, more innovative solutions for package innovation and in-store display. Take ownership of deliverables and initiatives with acute attention to craft and detail
  • Be able to plan ahead and lead and execute internal meeting preparation.
  • Salary Range:
  • Have an in-depth understanding of brand building fundamental and honor brand equity and heritage to execute design creation.

Section 3: Job Requirements

  • BFA/BA with focus in Graphic Design or related field of study.
  • 5-7 years of working experience in Communication Graphic/ Visual Merchandising. Ideal candidate should have relevant experience in beauty industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and deep empathy and emotional intelligence.
  • Must be highly organized, passionate, strategic-thinker, collaborative, energetic, positive, self-starter, driven, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be hands-on and able to execute projects independently from start to finish.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment: willingness and ability to be reactive, flexible, and resourceful under tight deadlines
  • Thorough knowledge of the creative process, including practical implementation, in order to effectively gauge workloads and deadline expectations.
  • Photoshop expert level and superior Adobe Creative Suite knowledge

Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign / Photoshop /Illustrator /Premier /Prop or Final Cut/After affects (motion window ) Cinema 4D/ Social Media native

Section 4: Judgment and Decision Making

This position requires limited supervision. An ideal candidate will work autonomously to complete projects and assignments as well as work cross functionally to achieve short and long-term brand objectives.

Section 5: Essential Physical Requirements

Office based role with long periods of sitting and computer work. Minimal physical activities, lifting up to 25lbs. required occasionally. Travel required up to 25% as well.

  • In conjunction with the Category Pod Lead and Creative Leads, support PPD US DMI’s brand identity and translate it throughout the entire creative process

Oversee pod creative output and production in terms of advertising image (trade and consumer print), copywriting, packaging design and artwork, merchandising, display, sales promotion, and education and training materials.

    Design and execute Visual Merchandising & display graphics; point of sale materials. @ every tough point of consumer shopping experience. Collaborate both with the Brand creative lead and U.S. Marketing to translate what is algid with DMI is properly executed at the regional launch.
