Job Description

The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) is seeking a Senior Manager, Logistics Procurement supporting the Global business with focus on North America operations. This position reports to the Senior Director, Logistics Procurement North America and is responsible for executing the Strategic Procurement function in support of multiple Operating Units and modes of transport. In this position, the Senior Manager, Logistics Procurement will be responsible for leading strategic sourcing events using market analysis, commodity strategy, negotiation/competitive bidding events, supplier selection and supplier management. This individual will also understand business requirements and achieve operational alignment with the Operating Units' stakeholders while ensuring adherence to “Platform Services” KPIs, guidelines, processes, supplier management, and the overall global logistics procurement strategies for The Coca-Cola system.

The position manages a large segment of the North America Logistics spend, including International and cross border transportation to manufacturing facilities, End Customers and Redistribution warehouses. It will support the Global Logistics Service team to unbundle inbound direct materials, which includes ingredients, coffee, tea, juices, packaging materials and other OU requirements. This also includes collaboration with key internal Company's stakeholders and external supplier/carrier executives through a robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program. Modes of transport include, but not limited to: Ocean, Air, FTL, LTL, Food Grade Tankers, Dedicated Fleet, Intermodal Rail.

What You’ll Do for Us

Support the development of the North America Logistics Sourcing Strategy covering a spend of approximately $1.2B USD.

Operate in a cross functional / matrix environment across multiple OU in North America.

Ability to be entrepreneurial and self-manage workload, set target dates, meet deadlines, follow processes and implement projects to achieve optimum results.

Procurement Management

Support Logistics Category Procurement Strategy with input from OU stakeholders and alignment with their business requirements and Platform Services KPIs and targets.

Lead or participate in RFQs, sourcing events and/or supplier/carrier negotiations, using the 7-Step Source Process (7SSP), or similar methodology, that results in preferential pricing, risk reduction, capacity, and other benefits for the OU.

Negotiate and manage transportation contracts, prices, volume, performance on behalf OU P&L owners

Develop Commodity Strategy Master based on OU requirements

Supplier Management

Negotiate legal contracts (Terms and Conditions) with Transportation Carriers.

Understand market intelligence and sources for competitive analysis, including supplier and industry data and be able to convert to internal competitive intelligence.

Support a robust SRM program for the Logistics Category and be the strategic representative of the company to the supplier / carrier.

Build sustainable global and regional supplier relationships that generate value for both TCCC and the supplier/carrier over time.

Lead the development, rationalization, and evaluation of suppliers aligned with the OU stakeholders to ensure optimal sources of supply.

Leadership & Excellence

Build formal/informal relationships with OU stakeholders, identifying priorities and needs.

Identify and implement best in class logistics practices to drive productivity.

Embrace digitization and disruptive technologies that lead to process improvements, business and category efficiencies.

Must be exceptional in demand management, highly analytical, able to communicate and possess presentation skills.

Entrepreneurial, willing to challenge the status quo and support change management.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent curriculum. Master’s degree preferred

Related Work Experience: 7-10+ years of demonstrated progression with global logistics provider and/or multinational FMCG company

International business experience is an asset

Strong communication skills

Proven negotiation and influence skills

Exposure to new technologies and trends related to Logistics

Travel required: Approximately 25%

Base Salary: $106,300 to $130,700
