We're searching for a Senior Manager, Learning Content to join out People and Culture Development team.

In this role, you will

  • Frequently collaborate and partner with senior leaders and cross-functional partners throughout the company as a thought leader, coach and consultant capacity to understand specific development needs and solve business problems
  • Actively participate and oversee the development of impactful curriculum based on learner feedback and other pertinent data.
  • Effectively utilize multiple delivery mechanisms and implement various learning modalities suitable for small and large scale audiences through the use of internal facilitators
  • Administrative and other duties as assigned
  • Collaboratively create a strategic plan, roadmap, and deliverables demonstrating achievement toward business priorities and talent outcomes through managing the development and facilitation of targeted content.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to interact with multiple clients simultaneously and manage priorities with competing demands
  • BA/BS degree or high school diploma/GED with equivalent practical experience
  • Demonstrated project management, organizational skills, and confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Strong instructional design skills with a demonstrated ability to create learning programs using a range of learning technologies
  • 8+ years in progressive talent development experience across multiple geographies, including leadership development, high-potential development, and executive development
  • Proficient in Talent Development technologies
  • Strategic, experienced L&D leader with ability to manage a team, develop and facilitate content
  • Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguity and with agility in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to manage a team that owns several L&D programs
  • Skilled facilitator across in-person and virtual modalities; well-versed in instructional design, digital learning, just-in-time / micro-learning, blended learning strategies, simulations, and other adult learning modalities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized, complex culture through strong relationships across departments, offices, and structures, adjusting style where appropriate
  • In-depth knowledge and proven success in a broad spectrum of learning practices with adult learning, instructional design, learning technologies, leadership development, blended learning strategies, and measurement strategies
  • Sound judgment and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment to align learning and development needs with strategy
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to build relationships with teams across departments, offices, and structures, adjusting style where appropriate

Desirable Qualifications

  • Previous experience using Workday is a plus
  • Master's Degree in Organizational Development, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, Education or related field preferred Experience in learning & development within the tech/engineering field
  • 3-5 years experience with Talent Management interdependencies, such as 360 assessments, assessment-for-development tools and psychometric instruments, performance management, talent reviews, succession management, retention, employee experience, recruiting, onboarding, etc.

The base salary range for this position is $149,000 - $239,000. Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
