Who We’re Looking For - We are seeking a Senior Inventory Cost Accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and takes a proactive approach to problem-solving and following up on issues. With knowledge of financial reporting software tools and excellent attention to detail to support the inventory process, you will assist with audit requests and documentation, and participate in the month-end and year-end close.

Responsibilities:

• Represent Finance/Accounting on team meetings to improve processes and reduce cost
• Support the inventory process; landed cost, labor, raw material and BOM costing
• Assist with audit requests and documentation as it pertains to cost of goods sold and inventory balances
• Support and participate in month-end and year-end close process as it relates to inventory
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile inventory accounts
• Monitor inventory and labor recording activities to ensure proper reporting of production costs
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
• Work closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues
• Produce accurate reports and present results as required
• Develop and document processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Other duties as needed
• Monitor and perform analysis on key cost of goods sold and inventory general ledger accounts

Qualifications:

• At least 3+ years of progressive previous experience in cost accounting, G/L, inventory required
• Amazon SellerCentral (Reporting)
• 3rd Party Logistics experience
• At least 3+ years using Netsuite (Inventory) required
• Advanced MS Excel skills (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• BA/BS Degree in Accounting or related degree a plus
• Consumer packaged goods experience
