Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing Manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced Human Resources professional to join their facility as a Sr HR Generalist! This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is outgoing, resourceful, values making an impact on others, and is experienced in the various facets of HR. You will ensure smooth and effective business operations by leading the execution of HR activities such as employee relations, benefits, creating and producing reports, talent acquisition and talent management. The SR HR Generalist will perform these functions with the highest degree of integrity and compliance of all federal and state regulations, while enforcing new or existing policies.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Additional special projects as needed.
  • Maintain data integrity with HRIS and Time Clock systems.
  • Represent the company and manage community recruiting events.
  • Own monthly, routine and ad hoc reporting.
  • Serves as a partner to the leadership team to provide day-to-day HR guidance on HR issues, and strategies to attract, develop, engage and retain the workforce.
  • Develop and maintain good employee communications/relations to promote positive teamwork attitudes and overall company reputation.
  • Complete termination paperwork and assist with exit interviews.
  • Lead full cycle recruitment efforts and initiatives including posting roles, conducting interviews, presenting offers and conducting onboarding/ orientation.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition initiatives, and training and development.
  • Conduct benefits enrollment process.
  • Create and lead new hire orientation, scheduling, confirmation of employment eligibility through I-9 verification, tracking and records required for all federal and state agencies. Leveraging systems including HRIS, E-Verify, ADP, HireRight.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years in Manufacturing environment
  • Bilingual. Haitian, Creole or Spanish
  • Develop and maintain strong working partnerships cross-functionally
  • 3+ years as HR Generalist
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university
  • Independent worker
  • Strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication
  • Organized, accurate, and thorough in work quality
  • Prioritization and effective use of time to complete work activities
  • Problem-solving skills - identify issues and propose thoughtful solutions in timely manner
