Senior Graphic Designer Jobs

ELEMIS is recruiting for a Senior Graphic Designer in their NYC office. This role is focused on the creation of various assets for the US region, ensuring that branding standards are met and supporting all retail channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating US marketing and branding strategies into innovative and impressive campaigns that stimulate targeted audiences.

Essential Responsibilities

General

• Support US Channel Teams in all sales, activations, and brand awareness initiatives.
• Collaborate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media.
• Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience.
• Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with the marketing team.
• Social and Influencer | Manage and create social media content like stories and posts.
• Additional tasks as assigned.
• Badges/icons, onsite assets for GWPs and promotions, and landing pages
• Create 3D assets such as influencer mailer, artworks for secondary packaging.
• Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
• Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices.
• Digital SupportSpecial focus on emails, banners, paid media assets and SMS
• Present completed ideas to US team members
• Maintain a strong collaborative fluidity in work partnership with the team on a day-to-day basis.
• Produce mockups, storyboards, roughs to visualize ideas.
• Manage a team of one.

Qualifications & Characteristics

• Have strong planning and organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail, enabling you to execute projects with precision and efficiency.
• Experience on successful cross-functional collaboration
• Understanding and interest of the US beauty market and brand competitor set
• Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat, to create outstanding visuals and assets.
• Possess a proactive, “roll-up your sleeves” entrepreneurial attitude, where no task is too small or big, displaying a readiness to take on challenges and explore new opportunities.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Showcase expertise in creating 3D printed assets.
• Must be able to accept new responsibilities as they come and respond positively to instructions and creative direction.
• Experience within an omnichannel brand – online and offline marketing channels
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• 6+ years of proven working experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design.
• Be adept at handling the creation of dotcom assets from A to Z, ensuring a smooth and cohesive process.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present information clearly and concisely.
