Senior Fp&A Analyst

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst in our Financial Planning & Analysis Department for our Columbus, Ohio location.

This position reports to: Director of Financial Planning & Analysis

Position Duties And Responsibilities

• Support operational leaders across the company to drive financial and strategic insight through data driven financial analysis and decision making.
• Partner with Operations to build out financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to be used in financial reporting with Leadership.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Create presentations on financial and operational performance for Operational Managers and Senior Executives.
• Support development of the Operations business unit/division financial forecast and annual budget, and tracks and analyzes variances throughout year.
• Partner with business leaders to create and maintain complex business modeling and analysis to identify operating improvements and deep dive on cost drivers.
• Develop, execute, and effectively communicate significant financial analyses that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the business.
• Strong support of the Operations department with understanding the cost-side of our product, efficiency of product movement, and overall business partnering.
• Leverage tools and systems to quickly access data and present meaningful, concise information to various levels of management.

Qualifications

• SQL and Power BI experience a plus.
• 3-5 years of financial reporting/analysis experience, with experience in Operations and/or supply chain a plus.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics.
• Ability to be flexible and navigate gray areas within finance and the company.
• Advanced understanding and working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Financial Modeling training a plus.
• Must be organized, detail oriented, and possess time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and other departments.
