Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Accounting Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Analyst with a strong understanding of SQL and Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, developing, and improving our financial reporting structures. This individual will also be tasked with providing critical business insights based on their analysis of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, maintain, and deliver comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Analyze complex financial data and extract key trends and insights.
• Present and explain financial information in an understandable manner to a variety of audiences.
• Build and enhance financial models using Power BI.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and professional standards.
• Conduct special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to automate financial processes.
• Develop, maintain, and update SQL databases used for financial reporting.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Qualifications:

• High level of proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a financial analysis or financial reporting role.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
• Extensive experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the entertainment or digital media industry, Direct to Consumer retail, and CPG/FMCG is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree or certification (such as CFA, CPA, or MBA) is preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience in managing databases.
