As a Financial Reporting Specialist you will:

The team is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting to oversee the accounting and reporting functions for the various reinsurance operations, their reporting and analysis. The successful candidate will lead the team that is focused on reporting, Accounting Policy issues, and capital transactions each quarter. This candidate will have the opportunity to expand his/her skill set in a broad array of accounting and financial reporting areas and will also learn about International market and products. The position requires significant interaction with various other PII teams, senior management, Corporate Controllers, Finance Shared Services, Risk Management, Global Portfolio management, Accounting Policy, Actuarial, Legal, Tax, and our internal and external auditors.

The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 6 years financial reporting experience (CPA and Big 4 experience a plus), Strong understanding of life insurance and US GAAP and Statutory accounting a plus, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA a plus).

Pay Range*: $40.00/hr - $47.00/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
