As the Sr. Financial/ Operations Analyst at Ample, you will play a key role in building and supporting the Company's financial infrastructure. You will provide financial and operational information that will assist the executive leadership management and the board of directors in making informed decisions retrospectively and proactively. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has Corporate FP&A experience in both a publicly traded company and a high growth startup. The ideal candidate is looking to design, implement and scale FP&A / Operations frameworks. You will join a growing team of dynamic professionals and report to the Director of Finance.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve the Company's operating model
Own the execution of Company-wide, end-to-end corporate forecasting, planning & reporting
Assist with the preparation of quarterly Management and Board presentations
Spearhead financial initiatives & systems improvements to support company growth
Provide business analysis of various types of contracts to leadership and maintain contract database
Provide finance/operations insight to initiatives with an eye to optimization as the company scales
Provide insights on market activity and assist with equity research, investor relations, and financing activities
Drive development of dashboards and KPI tools to analyze results and enable data-driven decision-making and tracking
Required Skills and Qualifications
4+ years of experience in investment banking, finance/accounting, or operating roles preferably at high growth companies (software and/or hardware industries)
Advanced modeling skills and corporate modeling experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a quantitative discipline
MBA or CFA, preferred
Impeccable analytical, communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated, self-directed and excited to step outside the role and help in a variety of ways
Ability to work closely with senior management
