Job Description

Our manufacturing partner is a global manufacturing organization known around the world for their top-notch consumer and industrial products. They are a Fortune 500 company who is number one in the world in revenue for their product line. We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer at one of their manufacturing facilities in southeastern Iowa. The Senior Electrical Engineer position researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. This will be based in Iowa but will lead projects across multiple facilities.


Duties:

  • Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Leads large projects or processes of complex scope, with limited oversight from manager
  • Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals
  • Identifies continuous improvement/automation activities
  • Assists in the development of operational plan and implements for areas of assigned responsibilities
  • Determines method of research for the planning, design development and testing of electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes



Requirements

  • Bachelor Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Travel required up to 40%
  • Preferred requirements: Project Management, PLC Programming, HMI Programming, Control system design via AutoCAD Electrical
  • 6+ years related electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing setting
