Senior Educational Program Director - Remote

Proclinical seeking a remote Continuing Medical Education - Senior Educational Program Director for an accredited institution.

Must be eligible to work in the US.

Job Responsibilities

• Document activity status and implementation of accredited programs within QuickBase and other tracking tools.
• Oversee strategy and implementation of conferences with multiple symposia and/or webcasts, guiding the junior team members and providing overall direction.
• Guide activity Educational Program Manager (EPM), if assigned to assist with activity development, with clear and concise communications within detailed specifications.
• Oversees all aspects of the project including but not limited to; budget management, logistics, management of vendors, coordination with internal and external teams including monitoring the content development and recruitment process
• Onsite duties include but are not limited to; overseeing F&B, coordinating AV and ARS, assembling meeting materials and handling boxes, setting up signage throughout the hotel or convention center, managing onsite registration, liaising with hotel staff for meeting needs
• Travel to both domestic (~1-2 monthly) and international ~(1-2 yearly) live meetings. (including weekends), execute flawlessly, and represent the company and partnering organizations in a professional manner.
• Develop live webcasts in conjunction with major medical congresses for their virtual meetings or standalone webcasts not associated with any other main event
• Communicate activity's unique specifications and supporter requirements to dedicated team, and establish plan of action during activity's internal kick off and maintain details throughout.
• Directly manage EPDs on the team and identify opportunities for growth and development within their role and daily tasks.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of the rules and regulations that govern accredited continuing medical education and continuing professional development (ie, ACCME, ACPE, ANCC, AAPA, AANP, etc).
• Liaises with the multi-media director to coordinate the scheduling of recordings and live event dates, coordinates the development of registration websites, email and print publicity, participant reminders with production, and oversees virtual platform needs
• Establish trust and create a cohesive relationship with partnering organizations by providing timely and accurate communications with the accredited institution(s), including program updates, supplying application materials, facilitating the CME/CE review, launch announcements, reconciliations, etc.
• Manage virtual events on evenings and weekends when needed based on conference schedules.
• A US-based, home-office based position responsible for all aspects of project management to develop live continuing education programs and ensure successful project delivery
• Provide analysis and prepare scheduled and ad hoc comprehensive reports to partnering organizations, senior management, and supporter liaisons.
• Mentor and provide guidance to Educational Program Directors (EPD) and Educational Program Managers (EPM) in the development of their live meetings.
• Execute live in-person symposia in conjunction with major medical congresses, according to their specifications and requirements. Oversee in-person meeting and represent the company in the following ways
• Proactively liaise with and manage priorities among the Editorial Team to meet established deadlines, milestones, and release dates.

Skills And Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail.
• At least 5 years of relevant CME/CE project management experience or at least 5 years of relevant medical education experience with prior experience working on various delivery formats including online enduring video programs, live audio and video webcasts, live symposia, and grand rounds hospital-based programs.
• Strong time management skills, and ability to independently, multi-task, prioritize and organize responsibilities in order to meet goals and timelines.
• Proven ability to effectively set priorities, manage multiple projects/assignments in various stages of development, and meet timelines, all while maintaining high quality standards.
• Comprehensive understanding and use of Microsoft Office and Google Applications/Drive.
• Preferred candidate will have experience managing direct reports, setting goals, conducting yearly reviews, and onboarding new employees.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and mentor junior team members.
• Preferred candidate will have experience and current relationships working with CME coordinators, department heads, physician practice managers, etc. at hospitals, physician practices, etc. placing regularly scheduled series/Grand Rounds-type educational meetings.
• Strong mentoring skills enabling professional growth and development for other team members.
