Senior Director Of Demand Planning

Responsibilities

• Responsible for optimizing and generating systematic inventory management processes through Anaplan and reporting as well as partner with the Procurement & Sourcing team and suppliers to develop multi-node supply chain visibility.
• Collaborates cross-functionally across the organization to identify opportunities and drive projects that will improve forecast accuracy, reduce/optimize inventory levels, support new product launches, and develop retailer/customer specific allocation strategies by product.
• Reviews and sets optimal inventory levels using system generated demand plans and best in class reorder methods and tools. Reviews forecasted demand with cross functional partners and makes adjustments based on forecast accuracy.
• Establishes robust processes for retailer and customer demand in collaboration with the Production Team and manufacturer partners regarding product seasonality, product knowledge and utilization strategies.
• Oversee, plan, and direct the entire process of demand planning and replenishment inventory.
• Responsible for planning and forecasting inventory level based on historical trends, reoccurring buys, seasonal forecasts, purchase trends, and current inventory levels.
• Supports all aspects of the product forecasting, inventory allocations and new product launches.
• Minimize waste, solve problems, develop, and implement new ideas for continuous improvement.
• Responsible for managing inventory driven costs and optimizing overall inventory spend and levels. Drives strategies to reduce inventory excess, obsolescence, devaluation and overall cost of capital.

Preferred Qualification And Experience

• Able to function both tactically and strategically within high stake environment and situations.
• Strong decision-making, multi-tasking and execution abilities under tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership abilities, experienced in working in a matrix managed environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field; advanced degree is preferred.
• Strong demand planning competencies from a supply chain level.
• 15+ years of experience in demand, supply & deployment planning activities coming from the Beauty & Cosmetics industry.
• Prior in-depth work experience with NetSuite, Apple devices & MS Office Suite – especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing data, preparing reports, and presenting to leadership.
