The Senior Director - Business Planning Analysis is responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function for the organization. This key position partners with the CFO/COO and the Executive Team to assistant in the development and execution of the corporate strategic and annual operating plan. Will develop key metrics & tools that will provide business insight to guide organization wide decisions to ensure value creation objectives are achieved. This role will also collaborate with business leaders in operations overseeing procurement and inventory planning. Identifying ongoing costs savings and productivity is critical. The Senior Director –Business Planning Analysis plays a critical role in bridging the operations with the senior marketing and brand departments to ensure alignment across business units. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a talented, high-potential individual to play a key role in managing our budget/forecasting process and being the finance business partner to our Digital Marketing team and all revenue driving functions; to provide our business with actionable insights to enable informed decision-making across all functions.
Reports to the CFO
What You’ll Do
- Produce executive presentations to support key business metrics, including business performance reviews, forecast signoffs, and post promotion analyses.
- Coach and develop finance staff to support the finance functions objectives
- Evaluate success of different promotional tactics and suggest improvements for future promotions
- Utilize management reporting tools to enable effective KPI tracking in areas including daily sales reporting, customer profitability, product profitability, SKU productivity and cost management.
- Work closely with cross-functional business partners, most notably the Digital Marketing team to identify key insights and trends to drive improved ROI on spending
- Collaborate with the CFO/COO to ensure the management and maintenance of our data infrastructure and financial reporting tools.
- Produce monthly management reports following the month-end close, ensuring reporting is accurate and submitted within required deadlines.
- Support the S&OP, forecast update and annual planning processes.
Supply Chain
- Lead, develop and deliver transformational change and implement a best-in-class supply chain function to meet customer demand, influence decision-making alongside the senior leadership team.
- Control supply chain costs through management reporting, diligent analyses and strategic modeling, informing leadership of projected and actual operations performance.
- Work alongside the operations team to drive cost forecasting and performance reporting as it relates to every angle of operations.
- Lead capital planning including financial analysis, cost/benefit tracking, business case development and forecasting for the operations department.
- Deliver business trends and insights, key variances, changes, and new initiatives reporting and analysis to the Director of Operations, Chief Financial Officer as well as the executive team.
- Optimize inventory levels across all aspects of supply to chain to ensure maximum efficiency.

- Strong business acumen, including problem-solving, a focus on organization and time management in the day-to-day.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while under tight deadlines.
- A driven, results-oriented team member with the excitement and energy to work hard in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with supply chain, sourcing and vendor management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Highly proficient use of analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge – Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience with an E-commerce centric company.
- Advanced data visualization and dashboarding experience.
- Experience in Private Equity backed/Founder lead company preferred.
- MBA preferred
- 7+ years of relevant and progressive experience in Finance.
